The Cape West Rotary experienced big success this past weekend with their 47^th annual auction.  The group held the live bidding event from 8 until 4 PM on KZIM-KSIM with more than 100 items up for bid.  This year they raised approximately 20-thousand dollars in donations.  All the money the group raises stays local to benefit the community.  Rotary Secretary Ryan Dewrock tells KZIM-KSIM this year they are helping the humane society. Planning for next year’s event has already begun.  Dewrock adds if you haven’t picked up your items you can still contact him at 573-837-0330 or stop by Bank of Missouri on South Kingshighway.
