Cape Central Junior High School will celebrate a new addition this week. Tomorrow (today) school officials will cut the ribbon on the new Library. The project began about 3 years ago as part of a bond issue. Architects worked with faculty on designing the new outlay with suggestions from the librarian. Assistant Principal Alan Bruns tells KZIM-KSIM it is a beautiful addition. Bruns adds this allowed them to pull the library from the lower level of the building and upgrade their technology. They are dedicating the addition to Louis Lorimier for his dedication to education in Cape Girardeau. The ribbon cutting will be at 1 PM in front of the library at 205 Caruthers Avenue.
