This fall someone new will be running the youth soccer leagues in Cape Girardeau.  For the past 32 years CAYSA has been in charge of the soccer leagues and tournaments but with increased responsibilities and fewer volunteers they needed help.  They approached the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department for assistance in setting up the program and eventually voted to let them take over.  Parks and Rec Director Julia Thompson tells KZIM-KSIM they felt comfortable with the move. They are already accepting registration for the fall season which is scheduled to begin in August.  To learn more you can call 573-339-6340.
