A Kennett man will head to trial for a shooting charge

A Kennett man will head to trial next month for a shooting incident.  According to police shots were fired January 8th 2011.  The victim told officers she was driving down the road near Henderson and Maple Streets when a man fired at her vehicle, striking her window.  The victim identified the shooter as 22 –year old Jeremy Reed.  He is charged with four counts of 1st degree assault, armed criminal action and one count of discharging a firearm at a motor vehicle.  He will have a hearing August 22nd before Judge Stephen Sharp in Dunklin County.
