A Southeast Missouri man facing charges of second-degree murder in the death of his 1-month-old son gets a new venue. 23-year-old Kade Stringfellow of Portageville is charged in the death of Karson Stringfellow. The baby was injured July 16th and flown to a St. Louis hospital, where doctors found he had a severe brain injury, four rib fractures, and bleeding in the eyes. Karson died two days later. The St. Louis Children's Hospital doctor who treated Karson said he suspected abuse. Kade is being held at New Madrid County Jail. He pleaded not guilty before Judge Fred Copeland and the case was moved to Butler County Court. A new date is pending.
