A 45-year-old registered sex offender who allegedly kidnapped a 5-year-old girl last month is now charged with additional counts in another case.  Jeffrey Shelton of Poplar Bluff allegedly abducted Abigail Bertholf October 24th.  Shelton and the girl were located that afternoon, south of the city.  He surrendered without incident.  Shelton is held without bond and pleaded not guilty Thursday before Judge John Bloodworth.  He is also charged with child molestation and burglary for allegedly kidnapping a 10-year-old Qulin girl October 20th in Ripley County.  A court date on that case is pending in Doniphan before Judge Thomas Swindle.  Shelton Thursday was also indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of production and possession of child porn involving that 10-year-old victim.
