Although the weather is starting to turn colder you don’t have to put that tackle box away quite yet. The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center is hosting a winter trout fishing clinic this weekend. You can discover great tips and techniques for catching and releasing these cold water fish tomorrow (today). Coordinator Michael Fiehler tells KZIM-KSIM trout are the perfect winter catch because they thrive in cold water. The program is free to attend and runs from 10 to 11:30 at the conservation center. It’s for ages 8 and up and registration is required. For more information call 290-5218.
