Two arrested in a Cape hotel for drug trafficking

Two men in Cape Girardeau were arrested last week in connection to drug trafficking charges.  On Thursday around 2:25 PM police responded to a call at Pear Tree Inn.  Caller claimed they could smell an odor that appeared to be marijuana coming from one of the rooms.  When police arrived they found 33 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, cash, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  43-year old Jesus Aguirre and 17-year old Ulises Santana of Kansas City were arrested at the scene.  The SEMO Drug Task Force and DEA were called in to assist in the case.
