Jackson Police are increasing their enforcement to help you enjoy the holidays safely. They will be participating in the 2012 Holiday DWI Enforcement Campaign to stop people from driving while impaired. The campaign begins next Monday and runs a full week into the 16th. Jackson Police Lieutenant Scott Eakers tells KZIM-KSIM this is a popular time for parties. If you are caught while driving intoxicated you can have your license suspended up to 60 days or jail time depending on the severity of the offense.
