A series of break-ins continues in Cape Girardeau

Police are still looking for leads as a series of break-ins in Cape Girardeau.  Early Thursday morning the Kentucky Fried Chicken location at 21-01 William Street was broken into.  The store closed just before 11 PM, and the alarm was triggered at 12:22.  When officers arrived they found the glass door was broken and money had been stolen.  There are no suspects at this time. Recent burglaries in the area include Longshots, Whiskey River, Rhymer’s, Trish’s Place, Raben Tire, Pop’s Pizza and Orschlen Farm and Home.  All have occurred between November 7th and December 5th.
