A Sikeston murder suspect gets a new court date and venue. DPS was called to the 800-block of William Street June 30th in reference to a subject that had been shot. 19-year-old DeAngelo Williams of Sikeston was rushed to a Cape hospital with multiple wounds and died four hours later. The motive remains unclear. 30-year-old Kevin King was arrested the next day in Cape. He is charged with 1st-degree murder and armed criminal action. King is jailed on a 150-thousand-dollar cash only bond. He pleaded not guilty before Judge David Dolan and requested a change of judge. The case has been assigned to Judge William Syler. A hearing will be held on the 17th in Jackson.
