Verizon wireless users will start to see a difference in their phone service this week

Dec 18, 2012 -- 11:24am

If you are a Verizon wireless user you may have started to see a difference in your phone speed.  This Thursday the network will offer 4G coverage to southeast Missouri as they expand their coverage area.  4G LTE will be available in Cape, Matthews, Sikeston, Jackson and Oak Ridge.  It will also stretch along I-55 from Southeastern Perry County, ending in Northern New Madrid County.  Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Hill tells KZIM-KSIM they offer more coverage than all of their competitors combined. The upgrade will offer users up to 10 times faster data service.  Your phone will automatically update to 4g.  If you have questions you can call your local provider for information.
