Two people are in critical condition after a major two vehicle accident in Sikeston Tuesday morning snarled traffic on a busy roadway.  DPS responded to the two vehicle collision on East Malone Avenue near Ingram Road at 8:20 AM.  A pick-up traveling eastbound on Malone struck a small car as it crossed the Ingram intersection.  The car overturned, resting on its hood in a parking lot.  The pick-up overturned, hit a light pole, ejected the driver, and landed upright.  Both drivers were air-evaced to a nearby hospital for serious injuries.  It shut down traffic in both directions.  Sikeston Police are seeking help from witnesses to recreate the event.  If you saw the wreck, please contact DPS at 471-4711.
