Jan 08, 2013 -- 9:24am

One of the Arkansas men facing charges after police say the stolen car they were in intentionally drove into a group of joggers, injuring three of them goes to jail.  The incident happened October 28th at the intersection of William and Main Street in Cape.  The victims suffered bumps and bruises.  19-year-old Vincent Anderson of Little Rock, and 27-year-old Marcus Jones of Cotton Plant, Arkansas were arrested an hour later on North Henderson Street.  Anderson was driving a Ford Thunderbird that was reported stolen moments before the joggers were struck.  All three were treated at the scene but one was taken to the hospital.  Anderson received a public defender and pled not guilty yesterday in front of Judge William Syler who then recused himself without explanation. The case was then given to Judge Benjamin Lewis for Monday.  Jones pled guilty to tampering and not guilty to resisting arrest.  Judge Gary Kamp sentenced him to 90-days in jail.
