A crash on Kingshighway yesterday closed after a car changing lanes slid into a utility pole. Just before 7pm northbound lanes closed for 2 hours because Ameren UE had power lines hanging in a dangerous position. Police reports indicate the car flipped over striking that pole and a fire hydrant. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries but did have to be extricated from his vehicle.
