Cape Girardeau City Council meets this evening at City Hall at 7p.m for their regular session. On the agenda is the retirement recognition of Robert McGregor from the Parks and Recreation Department, a public hearing to discuss the city's past performance in carrying out the Jefferson/Bloomfield restoration project, and a list of ordinances for zoning, plus a wide variety of issues. Included is a federal aid supplemental agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for the extension of the Riverwalk Trail, and appropriating moneys for capital expenditures from the casino revenue fund for the fiscal year ending June 30.
