Poplar Bluff Vehicles Sustain Damage to Windows

Jan 25, 2013 -- 1:13pm

Authorities believe a group of young people went on a shooting spree earlier this week, damaging at least 25 vehicles, possibly late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, and the damage to windows and windshields appeared consistent with a BB or pellet gun.  Poplar Bluff Deputy Police chief Jeff Rolland says this kind of vandalism is frequently perpetrated by youth, but with 20-plus windows shot out at a replacement cost of $150 to $200 per window, the total takes the crime into the felony property damage range.  Police request you contact authorities if you have information about the case.
