The 35th annual high school art exhibition will be on display Feb. 10 through March 10 in the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. "Exhibiting Excellence” will showcase the talents of junior and senior high school students in the southeast Missouri region, and this year's juror will be assistant professor of art education at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Barbara Bickel, who tells KZIM-KSIM that she tries to be fair in judging art. An opening reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 10. The Art Academy Award will be given to a junior for outstanding work and they will receive a scholarship to attend one of the University's summer Art Academy workshops. The Best of Show recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Southeast as an art major. For more information, call (573) 651-2260.
