Drivers should use caution around various road construction projects taking place in Cape County this week. Bridge maintenance is scheduled  on US 61 South in Cape County today through Thursday between the hours of 8am and 4pm. Route W in Cape County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. The roadway will be closed between Highway  177, and Kyle Drive from 8am to 3pm, and on Tuesday between Kaskaskia Lane and Tonapah Road from 8am to 3pm. Work zones will be marked with signs. Culvert Replacements are scheduled along Route Y East and West in Cape Girardeau County this Thursday. Work will take place between 8am and 3pm.
