Cape Girardeau police are investigating a robbery at the Cape Regional Credit Union Wednesday afternoon. At approximately 3:10 pm a male subject entered Cape Girardeau Credit Union at 2427 Cape Centre Dr. He handed a note to one of the tellers demanding money and indicated that he had a gun, but according to Cape Police Officer Darin Hickey, none was seen. The suspect fled from the scene on foot, west bound toward Broadview, with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a tall and slender younger black male wearing all dark clothing with a hooded jacket. The case is still under investigation, and no one inside the business was injured. This credit union was also robbed on Aug. 3, 2012.
