A junior high schoolteacher may be sentenced to probation instead of the 100 years he was facing in prison for sending explicit photos of himself. The lesser sentence will be part of a deal for his guilty plea today. 29-year-old Andrew J Delles of Jackson pled guilty to one felony count of sexual misconduct in the courtroom of Judge Benjamin Lewis. Lewis set a sentencing hearing for March 11. Delles was originally charged in March with 6 total counts, 3 of child enticement and 3 of sexual misconduct. In total, they carried a possible prison sentence of 102 years, but because of his guilty plea, Delles faces a maximum of 4 years behind bars. Prosecutors are recommending 5 years probation.
