A Sikeston man has been arrested after he had a suspicious package delivered to his home. On July 11th a postal worker became suspicious of a package and contacted the SEMO Drug Task Force. A canine was sent and alerted to the odor of narcotics. The package was delivered to the 300 block of William Street where police made contact with the owner 24-year old Joe Moore. A search warrant was obtained and officers found over two pounds of marijuana in the home. Moore was arrested without incident and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. He is being held on a 75-thousand dollar bond.
