Three months after a woman's body was found at an eastern Missouri motel, 52-year-old Curtis Smith has been charged in the crime.  Murder charges have been filed in the November death of Kristi Murphy, found dead in a bathtub at the Microtel Motel in Ste. Genevieve on Nov. 17.  Smith is currently serving a life sentence for murder in 2nd degree.  At the time of Kristi Murphy's death, he was out on parole.  Smith's bond is set at $250,000 and he is due court on March 5 in Ste. Genevieve County.
