Feb 22, 2013 -- 5:51am

Driving drunk is a crime, and the highway patrol will be looking for impaired drivers.  Missouri State Highway Patrol commanding officer of Troop E Captain George E. Ridens has announced that during the month of March they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and a driving while intoxicated saturation enforcement operation. The operation will be conducted in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, in an effort to check every driver to ensure they are sober.  The sobriety checkpoint will be in Butler County and the saturation will be in Butler, Cape Girardeau, Scott, Stoddard, Dunklin, Pemiscot, and New Madrid counties.
