Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that a Missouri man has been sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections.  24-year-old Derek Reigert of Delta   has been sentenced to three 3 years in prison on 1 count of Attempted Theft, a Class 4 Felony.  Reigert was arrested in November by Union County Sheriff’s Deputies after he attempted to remove copper wire from an agriculture irrigation system located near Wolf Lake, Illinois.
