42 –year-old day care owner Terry Layne Sauceda is charged with first degree assault involving a two year old child she allegedly shook while in her care at Little Happy Campers Daycare in Van Buren. The child has suffered from bleeding in the brain and a fractured collar bone.

In 2010, a former employee reported seeing similar abuse to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline. Sauceda admitted to the police that she shook the child and her bail is set at $10,000.  Sauceda is scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Michael Ligons in Carty County on March 26^th .
