Union County indictments from the grand jury have placed multiple suspects in custody

Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced Wednesday the Union County Grand Jury has returned indictments on ten individuals, with crimes varying from mob action to meth production.  Clint Hileman, Bruel Miller, and James Davis all of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Damian Martin of Anna are each charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Mob Action, following an investigation by the Anna Police Department.  Johnny Eubanks of Jonesboro is charged with various counts of methamphetamine production and possession, and is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro on $550,000 bond following an investigation by the Union County Sheriff’s Office and Jonesboro Police Department.  Jason Ward of Ava is charged with one count of Residential Burglary. Cobden Police and Union County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ward the evening of March 26 at a home on Wing Hill Road in rural Cobden after a 911 call was placed from the residence. Ward is currently held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro on $300,000 bond.
