Carbondale police look for suspect after shooting

Police in Carbondale are searching for a suspect considered armed and dangerous after a shooting Tuesday.  35-year-old Donnelle Campbell is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, home invasion, and aggravated discharge of a firearm.  Police responded to a home in the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue around 7:11 p.m. Tuesday where the suspect allegedly entered the home following multiple altercations between the victim and the suspect who are acquaintances.  After the suspect left the home, he and the victim had another fight which occurred in the 400 block of East Birch Street.  Police say that during this fight the suspect allegedly shot the victim in the foot with a handgun.  He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.  Campbell has not yet been located and should be considered armed and dangerous.  His bond has been set at $1 million.
