Ameren Missouri is hosting an open house for area residents to discuss an upcoming project.  The company is planning to set up a 345 Kilovolt electric transmission line in northwest Cape Girardeau.  The new line and substation will enable Ameren to meet the area’s needs and it continues to grow and expand.  Ameren Missouri Spokesman Doug Brown tells KZIM-KSIM they will be discussing the land issues with homeowners. They will host the open house until 7 PM at Notre Dame Regional High School.  Representatives will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
