Cape Girardeau Arts Council will have a lawn art making workshop this Saturday

Jun 21, 2013 -- 5:16pm

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri invites you to attend a Saturday Social featuring The Silver Crow Lady, Phyllis Adams. Adams is known for her beautiful silver jewelry, and her garden art creations. Recently, she became interested in making Lawn Art out of recycled dinnerware. Using odds and ends like bud vases, saucers, goblets, and dinner plates, she creates items that can be used for garden ornamentation, bird-baths, bird feeders, candle-holders, and many other purposes!  During the Saturday Social, Phyllis will aid workshop participants in creating their very own Recycled Lawn Art. The Arts Council will provide the appropriate glue and preparation materials; however participants will be responsible for bringing knick knacks. Workshop fees cover supplies and instruction. Fees are $10 for Arts Council Members and $15 for Non-Members. To reserve your spot, or for questions about what to bring, you can call the Arts Council at 573-334-9233
