Cape Girardeau County residents are invited to recycle obsolete electronics.

Newer faster electronic products are hitting the market daily leads consumers to quickly replace older models. Electronics have become the fastest growing waste streams. In a continuing effort to reduce solid waste disposal costs while supporting e-cycling activities in our area, the city of Jackson is once again hosting an e-cycle event at the Recycling Center at 508 Eastview Court on Saturday from 9am to 2pm. The effort is an opportunity  for Cape Girardeau County citizens and businesses to bispose of obsolete or unusable electronic items, small and large appliances, and other metal objects. In addition, M&J Shredding will be available from 9am to noon to offer on-site shredding services at no charge.
