A Malden man was arrested Wednesday after a complaint was filed from an incident on Sunday at a local park. Malden Police report that 28-year-old Christopher Robinson was arrested on a Dunklin County felony warrant for the charges of making a terroristic threat, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful use of a weapon. A witness reported to the police that on Sunday in Martin Luther King Jr Park in Malden, a fight broke out, and the suspect fired a gun in the air, while approximately 200 people were in the park. Officers reported to the scene, but there were no arrests. Later, a witness came forward and identified Robinson as having been within 10 feet of her child when he fired 6-7 shots in the air. The incident is still under investigation, and Robinson is being held in the Malden City Jail on a $150 thousand dollar bond.
