SEMO Food Bank offers food to those who are in need through a network of food pantries in our area. Programs Director Missy Rice tells KZIM-KSIM that they are aware that sometimes that monthly visit to your area pantry is not enough, so they have the ability to bridge the food gap for you with a mobile program.
Rice says that they have had the mobile pantry out at many locations this week, and you do not have to qualify to receive groceries. The mobile food pantry will be in Perryville at the Senior Center at 6:00pm tonight [Friday].
The SEMO Food Bank has a network of 180 partners, and you can find which location will serve your area by visiting semofoodbank.org.
