A man suspected of robbing a Cape Girardeau convenience store last weekend has been arrested. 20-year-old Dustin Durbin of Cape Girardeau, is in custody in Poplar Bluff, and is to be transported back to Cape Girardeau County. Durbin is being held on a $100,000 bond. A warrant for felony first-degree robbery was issued for him on Tuesday. Durbin is suspected of entering Amerimart on W. Cape Rock Drive, at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday and threatening an employee, demanding money and fleeing on foot. The suspect did not display a firearm but claimed he had one. Surveillance camera photos of the suspect inside the store were released to the public Monday. A probation agent called police to tell them Durbin was their suspect after seeing surveillance images from the store. Police found, after interviewing his mother and sister, that Durbin had shaved his head and left the area.
