Linda Nash has never held a political office but is hopeful her experience with the Southeast Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA will give her a leg up at the polls Tuesday. Nash is one of 13 republican candidates on the primary ballot for Public Administrator. She tells KZIM KSIM her experience in education, administration, leadership, and community involvement make her the best choice. Nash already reports to the court, state, federal, and private agencies concerning the condition and needs of foster children as her role with CASA. She says she has also administered federal grants in excess of 2-million-dollars and has shown fiscal accountability in her past. The winner of the 13 person race will face off against Democrat Mary Cotner this fall.
