A Dexter man jailed on possession of child porn has a preliminary hearing in September.  41-year-old Verl Cato was taken into custody July 9^th for allegedly possessing porn materials depicting young children engaged in sexual activity.  Cato downloaded the porn in November 2011 onto his personal computer.  Police seized his files in April containing 35 videos of child porn.  He is charged with six felony counts of possession and posted 10-thousand-dollars bond.  Cato has a preliminary hearing September 6^th in Bloomfield.
