The US Small Business Administration will be in Cape next week to offer a free workshop to veterans and their families on starting a small business. They will present resources available exclusively to those who have come back from deployment, education opportunities, health benefits, and loan programs. SBA veterans business development officer Angie Wells tells KZIM KSIM they’re finding former soldiers have the leadership, discipline, and management abilities to be successful. Wells says they offer all kinds of programs to help women veterans and disabled get going with an idea and encourage minorities to start a small business. The workshop runs Thursday the 16th at the Douglas Greene Center for Innovation at 9-20 Broadway in Cape from 6 to 8 PM. You can pre-register at 837-2313.
