With only eight votes making the decision in Tuesday night’s primary election candidate Bob Thrower has some questions on the results. He faced opponent Dennis Fowler for the 151st District Seat. Fowler won the night with a vote total of 1-thousand 9-hundred 21 to 1-thousand 9 hundred 13. After a voter received a wrong ballot earlier in the day, which was corrected, there were no other issues reported. Scott County Clerk Rita Milam tells KZIM-KSIM she believes her staff handled the election properly. Thrower has indicated that he intends to file an election contest lawsuit to invalidate the results of the race. Milam has already certified and turned in the ballots to the Secretary of State. If the contest is granted and a trial and special election are permitted it could delay the process to September leaving the winner a short time to campaign against their opponent.
