The Missouri Lottery transfers another 19 million dollars into public education

The Missouri Lottery has added more money to the public education system.  Since the lottery began in 1986 it has generated more then 4 point 3 billion dollars for state and public education.  Programs funded with this year’s money include the A Plus Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.  Lottery Spokesperson Susan Goedde tells KZIM-KSIM this year has already been up in sales. All proceeds from sales go to public education.  Goedde adds the powerball grand prize is up to 2-hundred-53 million dollars for Saturday night.  You can see where money is going by visiting the website at www.molottery.com.
