Thanks to some enterprising local business owners, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety can nowget some assistance in keeping residents and property safe. DPS Director Drew Juden tells KZIM-KSIM that they are excited that an “adopt-a-camera” program is finally getting city council support and community involvement.
Juden says the council approved the purchase of a new DVR that will give them the capability to record up to a possible 128 cameras—both digital and analog.
Juden says his department is excited to have the opportunity to encourage public and private partnership to the benefit of both—and he encourages multiple businesses to go together to accomplish the “adoption”. For more information, you can call Juden at 573-471-6200.
