Meg Goodman is a junior at Southwest Baptist University. The southeast Missouri native will be on the committee making arrangements at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida in 2 weeks! She was chosen by an advisor to attend the historical event! Goodman is studying political Science as her minor and leaves Saturday for the Sunshine state! She tells KZIM KSIM her committee will be in charge of planning the whole convention! She will be listen to speakers, attend seminars and learn the history of the convention. She will have more details when she arrives! Goodman has this opportunity via a student program entitled Campaign 2012 through the Washington Center. She also attended the 2009 inauguration. She says she has always been interested in politics but doesn’t know what her role may be in the future. The convention runs from the 27^th through the 30^th… and yes she did pack a swimsuit!
