An East Prairie man charged with killing his girlfriend will not go to trial this summer!  28-year-old Robert Christian remains in jail after a domestic incident led to 28-year-old Laura Faison hospitalized with serious injuries.  She died November 18^th, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center.  Christian is charged with 1^st-degree murder and kidnapping.  According to police, he allegedly beat Faison after a monetary dispute November 13^th, 2010, at her home, outside East Prairie.  He pled not guilty before Judge David Dolan and his trial was set for next week in Charleston.  But that was cancelled and Christian will either plead guilty or get a new trial date at a hearing October 9^th.
