A Southern Illinois man charged after making Meth will spend the next 4 years in state prison. 24-year-old Travis Farris of Anna pled guilty before Judge Mark Boie (boo-ee) in Union County Court Thursday and was sentenced on one count of unlawful participation in Meth production. Union County sheriff arrested Farris in March at a home on Illinois Route 146 in rural Jonesboro. He was found engaged in the production of less than 15-grams of Meth. Farris must serve at least 75-percent of the prison term. He was given credit for 124 days time served.
