Sikeston convenience store robbed Saturday

A Sikeston convenience store was robbed over the weekend.  According to a news release from the Sikeston Department of Public Safety - At 9:20 a.m. Saturday, a clerk at Breaktime Convenience store says there was an unsuccessful struggle with a perpetrator and a deposit bag was taken by force. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. After a witness came forward Sunday morning, police were able to identify the suspect's vehicle. Captain James McMillen says the vehicle is a 2002-to-2005 white Chevrolet Malibu with tinted windows.
