The Butler County Republican Central Committee will hold a major rally next month without Todd Akin!  The group met Tuesday and voted to ask the Congressman not to attend their annual Reagan Days event September 8^th at Black River Coliseum.  The request is a result of the comments made by the Senate candidate Sunday regarding sexual assault and rape.  Committee chairman Eddy Justice tells KZIM KSIM they are following the lead of Senator Roy Blunt and other distinguished Republicans in asking Akin to step aside.  Justice says this is a major rally two months before Election Day and they want it to be about the viable candidates, the party platform, and the elected leaders that will help Republicans win in November.  Attendees include Jo Ann Emerson, Roy Blunt, Peter Kinder, Neal E Boyd, and Lloyd Smith.  It’s at 5:30 PM on the 8^th.  You can get tickets at 573-300-1845.
