Clay Waller wants a change of venue in his murder case

Aug 23, 2012 -- 4:28pm

Clay Waller wants a change of venue in his murder case.  His defense attorney Monday filed a petition in Cape County Court for a new venue.  Clay pled not guilty on the 13th to first-degree murder before Judge Ben Lewis.  His estranged wife, Jacque, was 39 when she was last seen alive June 1st, 2011.  Her body has never been located.  Waller will be back in court in Jackson October 22nd for a status hearing if his case isn’t assigned to another county by that date.
