A local school is taking on a musical for the first time in their new auditorium

Nov 19, 2013 -- 2:43pm

The cast of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” at Cape Central High School is very excited about their fall performance. Senior Courtney Limbaugh was in studio on the KZIM KSIM Morning news Watch with Faune Riggin when she told us they normally do a fall play but this time they really went for it! "We wanted to do something exciting and upbeat this year. When we learned we had the opportunity to do a fall musical we jumped at the chance to take advantage of our new auditorium. This will be our first musical - ever. It will grab everyone's attention and we feel it will be a fun show to put on." Zach Reese, Emily Hagan, Michaela Lovig, and Ryan May were also in studio and have the lead roles. They invite you to the Richard D. Kinder Performance Hall at CHS for the play which features a young woman heading to the big city hoping to become a star. Show times are this Thursday through Saturday 7 o’clock each night.
