Man accused of exposing over 300 people in the region to HIV was back in court

A Stoddard County man, who was charged with 20 counts of exposing another individual to HIV was back in court on Wednesday. 37-year-old David Mangum, of Stoddard County, was arrested in September. Mangum alledgedly had sexual contact with over 300 people over a ten year period from multiple states while he was infected with HIV. His request to transfer his case to Butler County was approved by Judge Robert Mayer.   Prosecuting Attorney Russell Oliver says that many people claimed to have interacted with Mangum through the  Craigslist ad "men seeking men. "He pled guilty to the charges in October. As of now, no new court date has been set.
