The United States Attorney’s Office announced Monday that a St.Genevieve County man was sentenced on felony child pornography charges. 28-year-old BRYAN GRASS, of Ste. Genevieve, was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment on two felony charges of possession of child pornography. He appeared before U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr., in Cape Girardeau. When released, he will be supervised for the remainder of his life. A federal search warrant was executed at Grass’ St. Genevieve, Missouri residence in July 2012. When the officers arrived to execute the search warrant, Grass told them that he knew why they were there. Officers seized Grass’ computer which contained images of child pornography. During an interview with authorities, Grass admitted that he had been downloading child pornography for several years and that he had viewed thousands of images of child pornography in the past.
