Your children can get a taste of FAME with a special program from SE Missouri State University

Jan 03, 2014 -- 4:53pm
Is your child a “ham”? Does he or she have a “gift”? A special talent? Give them this opportunity to shine with A Winter Children’s Theater Workshop at the River Campus at SE Missouri State University. Space is limited but they have extended the deadline to the 14th. Guest artist Victoria Tuttle, a former touring actress, will teach the kids from grades one through eight, Broadway and Musical Theater. She tells KZIM KSIM both programs, separated by age, will be focused around “Peter Pan” to be presented by the theater students at SE February 26th…"The college kids are doing it and the younger kids are also going to be doing the scenes and songs in their classes. It's going to coincide so they'll actually get backstage experience and get to see some of the performers and scenery. It's going to be really, really fun!" Tuttle says your child will be on stage at the matinee performance on March 1st! Go to semo.edu/svpa or call 651-2210 for registration information.
